This medication is primarily used for respiratory symptoms such as cough and phlegm.

How to take

Adult dose

Adults: 2 capsules per dose, 3 times a day after meals

Precautions

This medication should not be taken by women who are pregnant or may become pregnant. It should not be used in infants under 3 months of age. Individuals who are currently taking or have discontinued monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs) such as antidepressants, antipsychotics, mood stabilizers, antiparkinsonian agents, should not take this medication if it has been less than 2 weeks since stopping. It should not be taken by those with a history of allergy or hypersensitivity to this medication or any of its ingredients. This medication contains lactose; individuals with lactose intolerance or certain genetic metabolic disorders should avoid taking it. While taking this medication, do not take other expectorants, cold medicines, antihistamines, or sedatives that may also contain similar ingredients. Individuals with a history of allergies or drug allergies should consult with a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medication. Patients with liver, kidney, heart, thyroid disease, diabetes, hypertension, glaucoma, urinary difficulties, elderly patients, those who are weak, or individuals with high fever should consult a specialist before taking this medication. Pregnant or nursing women should also consult a specialist before taking. Patients undergoing treatment should consult their doctor before taking this medication. Consult a specialist before taking if you have a cough with smoking, asthma, chronic bronchitis, emphysema, excessive phlegm, a cough lasting more than a week or recurring, fever, rash, or persistent headache. People allergic to Yellow No. 5 should use this medication with caution. If symptoms such as rash, itching, nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, dizziness, urinary difficulties, persistent thirst, anxiety, tremors, insomnia occur during use, discontinue immediately and consult a specialist. If symptoms do not improve after 5-6 doses, discontinue and consult a doctor. Children under 2 years of age should not take this medication; if necessary, please seek medical consultation. The prescribed dosage and administration must be strictly followed, and it is advisable to give syrup form to children under the age of 7. Avoid alcohol while taking this medication, as drowsiness may occur; refrain from operating vehicles or machinery. Store this medication out of the reach of children, avoid direct sunlight, and keep it in a cool place with low humidity. To maintain quality, it is advisable not to transfer to other containers.
