For severe infections like otitis media, sinusitis, bronchopneumonia, and urinary tract infections, the dosage is typically 45 mg/6.4 mg per kg of body weight, divided into two doses per day.
Child dose
The 7:1 syrup is not suitable for infants under 2 months of age and is also not suitable for pediatric patients with renal failure. The dosage is divided into two doses per day based on weight in kg.

This medicine is used for the treatment of various infections caused by a wide range of bacteria. It is effective for respiratory infections such as acute and chronic bronchitis, pneumonia, and also effective for upper respiratory infections like sinusitis and otitis media, as well as urinary tract infections including cystitis, urethritis, and pyelonephritis. It is also effective for skin and soft tissue infections such as gonorrhea and pelvic infections, boils, abscesses, soft tissue infections, and wound infections. It can also be used for osteomyelitis and dental infections, making it applicable for a broad spectrum of infectious diseases. This medicine helps in improving various bacterial infections.

How to take

Adult dose

Precautions

Central nervous system symptoms such as headaches, dizziness, or seizures may rarely occur, so monitoring for these symptoms is essential. In cases of overdose, symptoms like vomiting, diarrhea, or renal failure may occur, and immediate medical attention should be sought. During pregnancy or breastfeeding, it should be used cautiously only when necessary, especially during the early three months of pregnancy. Elderly patients may have an increased risk of adverse reactions due to impaired kidney and liver function, requiring careful adjustment of dosage and intervals.
