This medication is used to relieve various pains such as headaches, toothaches, sore throat, joint pain, and muscle pain. It is also effective for pain caused by trauma, such as post-extraction pain or sprains and fractures. It has antipyretic action for menstrual pain, chills, and fever, thereby improving overall symptoms. With these effects, it helps reduce patient discomfort and aids in treating pain and fever.

How to take

Adult dose

Adults: 2 tablets per dose, taking up to 2 times a day while avoiding fasting. The dosage interval should be at least 6 hours.

Child dose

Children 11-14 years: 1⅓ tablets per dose 7-10 years: 1 tablet per dose

Precautions

This medication may cause liver damage if taken by individuals who regularly consume three or more glasses of alcohol daily, so consultation with a doctor or pharmacist is essential. This medication contains acetaminophen; therefore, it should not be taken simultaneously with other products containing acetaminophen as it may cause liver damage. Individuals with hypersensitivity to this drug, a history of asthma, or genetic issues such as lactose intolerance should not take it. Individuals with high blood pressure, the elderly, those with heart or kidney problems, edema, those undergoing medical treatment, individuals with allergic tendencies, children, pregnant and nursing women must consult a specialist before taking this medication. If symptoms such as decreased urination, swelling of the face or extremities, heaviness of the eyelids, stiff hands, increased blood pressure, or headache appear during use, discontinue immediately and consult a specialist. Long-term use may lead to adverse effects such as hypokalemia or myopathy, necessitating regular monitoring. If there are any abnormal symptoms, use should be halted. Dosage and administration must be strictly followed, and it should not be taken with other antipyretic analgesics, cold medications, or sedatives. Children should take this medication under the supervision of a guardian, and if symptoms such as rash, vomiting, constipation, loss of appetite, or dizziness occur, discontinue use and consult a specialist. If symptoms do not improve, discontinue use and consult a doctor or pharmacist, and it is advisable not to use it for an extended period. If hives, severe swelling, chest tightness, high fever with severe skin reactions, or asthma symptoms appear after taking this medication, discontinue immediately and consult a specialist. Caution should be taken as the metabolism of acetaminophen may slow and its hepatotoxicity may increase when used with barbiturates, tricyclic antidepressants, or alcohol. This medication should be stored in a tightly sealed container away from direct sunlight and in a cool, dry place, out of reach of children. Also, medications should not be transferred to another container, and they must be stored tightly closed in their original container.
