This medication helps alleviate symptoms such as sneezing, runny nose, nasal congestion, and tearing caused by colds or allergic and vasomotor rhinitis. It also has a temporary effect on improving nasal congestion (congestion) caused by sinusitis. Therefore, it is used effectively to relieve uncomfortable symptoms in the nose and eyes caused by rhinitis and sinusitis.

How to take

Adult dose

Children aged 12 and older and adults: take 10ml every 4 hours. Do not exceed 60ml within 24 hours. Follow doctor's instructions.

Child dose

Children aged 6 to under 12: take 5ml every 4 hours. Do not exceed 30ml within 24 hours. Follow doctor's instructions. Children aged 2 to under 6: follow doctor's instructions.

Precautions

This medication should not be taken by patients who are allergic to specific ingredients or are hypersensitive to amine-based sympathomimetics and antihistamines. It is also safer for patients with specific constitutions or nursing women to refrain from taking this medication. Additionally, patients with severe hypertension or coronary artery disease, as well as those undergoing treatment with MAO inhibitors, should not take this medication. This medication contains a dye called Yellow No. 5, which should be used cautiously in case of allergy to this ingredient. During medication, one should be aware that neurological adverse reactions such as anxiety, tremor, dizziness, headache, hallucination, and seizures or cardiovascular anomalies may occur. In particular, individuals sensitive to the phenylephrine component may experience symptoms like an increased heart rate, headache, and dizziness. Antihistamine hypersensitivity may result in side effects such as drowsiness, dry mouth, loss of appetite, and dermatitis. This medication can cause drowsiness, and caution should be exercised when consuming alcohol or other sedatives as drowsiness may be exacerbated. Children may experience excitement, so it is advisable to consult a professional before taking it. If symptoms do not improve after 7 days or if high fever occurs, consult a doctor promptly. Avoid alcohol during treatment, and refrain from activities needing concentration such as driving or operating machinery. It is important not to exceed the specified dosage and to seek immediate medical assistance in case of an overdose. If symptoms such as dizziness, insomnia, or nervousness appear, discontinue use and consult a doctor. Store this medication out of the reach of children, protect it from direct sunlight, and keep it in a cool, dry place.
