For mild to moderate infections such as recurrent tonsillitis, upper respiratory infections, lower respiratory infections, urinary tract infections, and skin & soft tissue infections, the recommended dosage is 25 mg/3.6 mg per kg of body weight, divided into two doses daily. In cases of more severe infections such as otitis media, sinusitis, and bronchopneumonia, the recommended dosage is 45 mg/6.4 mg per kg of body weight, divided into two doses daily. To minimize potential gastrointestinal intolerance, it is recommended to administer at the start of meals.
Child dose
The 7:1 syrup is not suitable for children under 2 months of age and for pediatric patients with renal failure.

This medication is used for the treatment of infections caused by various bacteria. It is effective against respiratory infections such as acute and chronic bronchitis, pneumonia, empyema, and lung abscess, as well as various upper respiratory infections including tonsillitis, sinusitis, and otitis media. Additionally, it is used for urogenital infections such as cystitis, urethritis, and pyelonephritis, as well as for the treatment of gonorrhea and pelvic infections. It also helps treat skin and soft tissue infections, boils and abscesses, wound infections, osteomyelitis, and dental infections. It is widely used in the treatment of infections due to various resistant bacterial strains. This medication helps improve symptoms caused by infections and assists in complete recovery.

How to take

Adult dose

Precautions

This medication contains the artificial sweetener aspartame, and should not be administered to patients with phenylketonuria.
