Precautions

This medicine can cause liver damage if taken by individuals who regularly consume more than three alcoholic drinks a day, so it is important to consult a doctor or pharmacist. This medicine contains acetaminophen, so caution is required, as taking it with other medications that contain acetaminophen can exceed the maximum daily dose and cause liver damage. Individuals who have previously taken this medication or similar medications and experienced allergic reactions such as skin rash, itching, or swelling should not take it. Additionally, individuals who have previously experienced asthma symptoms while using this medication or other cold medications or fever reducers should avoid taking it. Children under 14 years old with allergic conditions such as hives, allergic rhinitis, or migraines, or suspected cases of chickenpox or influenza, and individuals with chronic conditions such as liver or kidney diseases, diabetes, or hypertension should consult a professional before use. Pregnant women, women who may become pregnant, nursing mothers, elderly individuals, and patients with asthma, glaucoma, or prostate enlargement should also consult a doctor before use. The prescribed dosage and frequency must be strictly followed, and it should not be taken with other fever reducers, cold medications, or sedatives. Children should only take this medication under the supervision of a guardian, and if symptoms like hives, swelling, chest tightness, or shortness of breath occur after intake, usage should stop immediately and a professional should be consulted. If severe rashes, burn-like blisters appear over the body or on mucous membranes of the mouth or eyes with a high fever, or if asthma symptoms arise, the medication should also be stopped immediately and a doctor consulted. Caution is advised when taking this medication in conjunction with barbiturates, tricyclic antidepressants, or alcohol, as they may diminish the breakdown capacity of acetaminophen and increase the burden on the liver. If symptoms such as rash, nausea, vomiting, constipation, appetite loss, dizziness, or drowsiness occur during use, it is advisable to stop taking it and consult a professional. As drowsiness may occur, it is best to avoid driving or operating machinery. If symptoms do not improve, stop taking the medication and consult a doctor or pharmacist.
