This medication is used to prevent and treat asthma. It also helps relieve symptoms of seasonal and persistent allergic rhinitis. In other words, it is effective in managing respiratory-related allergic diseases and improving symptoms.

How to take

Adult dose

This medication should be taken once daily; asthma patients should take it in the evening, while allergic rhinitis patients should determine the time of administration based on their condition. Patients with both asthma and allergic rhinitis should take 1 tablet in the evening once daily. Precautions

This medication is used to treat asthma and allergic rhinitis and should be taken consistently over the long term. During treatment, various neuropsychiatric abnormalities such as agitation, aggression, anxiety, depression, hallucinations, and suicidal thoughts may occur, so if these symptoms appear, consult a doctor immediately. This medication contains the artificial sweetener aspartame, so patients with phenylketonuria should limit its use and the daily intake of aspartame. Patients who are allergic to this medication or its components should not use it. Various adverse reactions such as dizziness, headache, dyspepsia, rash, cough, fever, etc. may occur. If symptoms persist or worsen, inform a healthcare provider. This medication is not effective during an acute asthma attack; therefore, keep emergency bronchodilators on hand at all times. Do not abruptly stop or replace inhaled corticosteroids with this medication. Do not use this medication alone for the treatment of exercise-induced bronchospasm; continue using inhaled β-agonists if necessary. Patients with known hypersensitivity to aspirin or non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs should not take these medications while using this medication. Rarely, eosinophilia and vasculitis symptoms may occur, so if eosinophilia, skin rash, or worsening pulmonary symptoms occur, seek medical examination immediately. No significant interactions have been reported when used with other medications, but caution should be taken and closely monitored when used with certain medications as directed by healthcare providers. Use during pregnancy should be limited to necessary cases, and caution is required when breastfeeding. Safety and efficacy have not been established in children, especially infants under 6 months of age, so it is advisable not to use in this age group. There is no specific antidote for overdose. General treatment and monitoring are required. This medication is sensitive to light, so do not open the packaging until just before taking, and take it within 15 minutes of preparation. Store in a place out of reach of children, and do not transfer to another container to maintain the quality of the medication. If asthma symptoms worsen or if emergency medication is needed more frequently, consult a healthcare provider. Do not reduce or stop the dosage of other asthma treatments without consulting a doctor.
