It can also be used for toothache, joint pain, and rheumatic pain. Therefore, it is used to help improve the symptoms of patients by providing overall pain relief and reducing inflammation.

How to take

Adult dose

As acetaminophen, 300–1000mg (1–3 tablets) is taken orally 3–4 times a day. The maximum daily dose is up to 4g (12 tablets). Adjustments can be made according to age, condition, or symptoms.

Precautions

This medication can put stress on the liver, so individuals who regularly consume more than three alcoholic beverages a day should consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking it. If unusual symptoms such as skin rash or allergic reactions occur while taking this medication, discontinue use immediately and consult a healthcare professional. This medication contains acetaminophen, so caution is necessary not to exceed the maximum daily dosage of 4,000mg. It should not be taken in conjunction with other medications containing acetaminophen. Individuals with allergies to this medication, or with peptic ulcer, severe liver or kidney disease, or impaired cardiac function should not take it. Patients currently taking aspirin, certain antidepressants, or barbiturates are also advised not to take this medication. Those with lactose intolerance or certain genetic metabolic disorders should not take this medication. Individuals with liver or kidney issues or past medical history, bleeding tendencies, asthma patients, elderly individuals, or women who are pregnant or breastfeeding should consult a healthcare professional before taking this medication. If symptoms such as severe allergic reactions, difficulty breathing, skin rash, vomiting, or gastrointestinal bleeding occur, discontinue the medication immediately and consult healthcare personnel. If this medication is to be taken for a prolonged period, regular blood tests and liver function tests should be conducted, and if abnormalities are found, the dosage should be reduced or discontinued. This medication is advised not to be taken with other anti-inflammatory analgesics, and if pain or fever symptoms persist for a long time, consult a professional. Children and the elderly should take the minimum dosage and be closely monitored after dosing. In case of overdose, even without special symptoms, immediate medical attention should be sought for proper treatment.
