This drug is helpful in situations where sputum discharge is difficult. It is particularly effective during acute exacerbations of acute bronchitis or chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. It helps to dilute the mucus in the airways to facilitate smooth breathing and aids in the expulsion of phlegm. This relieves respiratory symptoms and reduces the discomfort experienced by the patient. Therefore, it is used to improve sputum discharge difficulty during acute attacks of acute bronchitis and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
