Adult dosage

Children aged 12 years and older and adults should take 10 mL every 4 hours. Do not exceed 60 mL in 24 hours, and follow the physician's instructions.

Children's dosage

Children aged 6 years and older to under 12 years should take 5 mL every 4 hours. Do not exceed 30 mL in 24 hours, and follow the physician's instructions. For children aged 2 years and older to under 6 years, follow the doctor's instructions.

This medicine should not be taken by individuals who are allergic to certain medications or are sensitive to sympathomimetic amines or antihistamines. It is also advisable for people with specific conditions or nursing mothers to avoid taking this medicine. Those with severe hypertension or coronary artery disease, as well as patients undergoing treatment with MAO inhibitors, should not use this medicine. Patients with glaucoma, inability to urinate, peptic ulcers, asthma, emphysema, or breathing difficulties should exercise caution. Additionally, patients taking sedatives or tranquilizers must consult a physician before taking this medicine. It is also advisable not to take this medicine without a doctor's instructions if experiencing urination difficulties due to chronic bronchitis, heart disease, thyroid dysfunction, diabetes, or benign prostatic hyperplasia. Side effects that may occur include anxiety, tension, tremors, dizziness, shortness of breath, urination difficulties, insomnia, hallucinations, and seizures due to the sympathomimetic ingredients. Individuals sensitive to phenylephrine may experience increased heart rate, headaches, and nausea, but it is safe at appropriate doses. Allergic reactions to antihistamines may cause drowsiness, dry mouth, dizziness, loss of appetite, vomiting, headaches, nervousness, frequent urination, heartburn, double vision, and difficulty urinating. Special caution is required for children as they may become excited when taking this medicine. Drowsiness may occur while taking this medicine, and taking it with alcohol or sedatives may exacerbate drowsiness; therefore, it should be avoided. If symptoms do not improve within 7 days or if there is a high fever, consult a physician immediately. Avoid alcohol while taking this medication and refrain from activities requiring concentration such as driving or operating dangerous machinery. Do not exceed the prescribed dosage, and consult a physician immediately in case of overdose. If symptoms such as dizziness, insomnia, or nervousness occur after taking, discontinue use and consult a physician. This medicine should be stored out of reach of children, away from direct sunlight, and in a cool, dry place. It should also be kept in its original container to prevent misuse or quality deterioration.
