Additionally, due to the presence of pseudoephedrine, there may be serious skin reactions such as acute generalized exanthematous pustulosis; if fever, rash, or small pustules appear, discontinue use immediately and consult a professional. This medication can cause certain allergic reactions, so those who have previously had allergies to this medication or its components should not take it. Individuals who have experienced asthma attacks or who are taking certain antidepressants, antipsychotics, anticholinergics, or others, as well as those with severe liver, kidney, or heart dysfunction, should avoid taking this medication. This medication contains lactose; therefore, individuals with lactose intolerance or related genetic disorders should not take it. Care should be taken not to take other medications containing acetaminophen simultaneously during the course of treatment, as this can lead to liver damage. It is also advisable not to take cough suppressants, other cold medications, antipyretics, antihistamines, sleep aids, sedatives, or drugs affecting the central nervous system concurrently. Avoid consuming alcoholic beverages while on this medication, and since drowsiness may occur, it is recommended to avoid driving or operating machinery. The sedative effect may be increased if taken with alcohol or sedatives. Those with a history of allergic disposition, asthma, hypertension, diabetes, thyroid disease, gastrointestinal diseases, or kidney or liver diseases should definitely consult a professional before taking this medication. It is important for pregnant or nursing women, the elderly, and children to consult experts before taking this medication. If symptoms do not improve after taking the medication or if unusual symptoms such as skin rash, itching, vomiting, dizziness, difficulty breathing, severe swelling, etc., occur, discontinue use immediately and consult medical personnel.
