Relief of muscle tension such as neuralgia and myalgia
This medication is used for the relief of various types of pain including neuralgia, myalgia, arthralgia, and low back pain. It is effective not only for localized pain such as sprain pain and shoulder pain but also for conditions accompanied by abnormal muscle tension such as muscle cramps and rigidity. Overall, it helps to relieve muscle tension and reduce pain, contributing to a more comfortable daily life for patients.
Adults: Take 2 tablets once, up to 4 times a day, avoiding taking it on an empty stomach. Properly adjust according to age and symptoms.
This medication should be consulted with a doctor or pharmacist if taken by individuals who regularly consume more than three drinks a day as it may cause liver damage. This medication should not be used by individuals who are hypersensitive to chlorzoxazone or acetaminophen, or who have previously experienced hypersensitivity symptoms such as rash, redness, itching, or swelling due to this medication. Additionally, it is crucial not to take this medication together with other products containing acetaminophen, as it may increase the risk of liver damage. If symptoms such as hives, swelling, chest tightness, pale complexion, cold sweat, or difficulty breathing occur during treatment, discontinue use immediately and consult a doctor or pharmacist. Patients taking this medication along with barbiturates, tricyclic antidepressants, or alcohol may experience decreased degradation of acetaminophen, leading to prolonged half-life and increased hepatotoxicity. Patients with severe liver or kidney disease or a history of allergies should be particularly cautious when taking this medication. If hypersensitivity reactions such as hives, redness, and itching occur while taking this medication, discontinue use immediately. Rarely, severe symptoms such as allergic skin rash, bleeding, angioedema, or anaphylaxis may occur. If liver function impairment is suspected, it is essential to stop taking this medication and consult a doctor, and symptoms such as gastrointestinal disturbances, bleeding, drowsiness, dizziness, and headache should also be monitored closely. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant should only take this medication when the benefits outweigh the risks, as its safety has not been established. Use caution when taking this medication with alcohol or central nervous system depressants, as interactions may increase side effects. This medication should be kept out of the reach of children and stored in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Additionally, to prevent misuse and maintain quality, it should not be transferred to other containers.
