This medication helps relieve symptoms of sneezing, runny nose, nasal congestion, and tearing caused by cold, allergic, and vasomotor rhinitis. It also has a temporary effect of improving nasal congestion due to sinusitis. Thus, this medication is used to alleviate discomfort related to the nose.

How to take

Adult dose

Children over 12 years and adults: Take 1 tablet every 4 hours. Do not exceed 6 tablets in 24 hours. Follow doctor's instructions.

Child dose

Children aged 6 to under 12 years: Take 1/2 tablet every 4 hours. Do not exceed 3 tablets in 24 hours. Follow doctor's instructions. Children under 6 years: Follow doctor's instructions.

Precautions

This medication contains aspartame, an artificial sweetener. Aspartame breaks down into phenylalanine in the body, so patients with phenylketonuria should not take this medication. The daily allowance of aspartame should be controlled to not exceed the WHO recommended limits, and care should be taken to not exceed 2.4g per day for adults. This medication should not be taken by individuals who are allergic or hypersensitive to specific drugs or ingredients. Furthermore, individuals with unusual constitutions, nursing women, patients with severe hypertension or coronary disease, those with certain ophthalmic diseases or urinary issues, peptic ulcers, asthma, chronic pulmonary diseases should avoid this medication. Patients taking sedatives or tranquilizers should be cautious with this medication, and those with genetic issues such as lactose intolerance or lactase deficiency should also avoid it. Patients who have difficulty urinating due to chronic bronchitis, heart disease, hypertension, thyroid disorders, diabetes, glaucoma, benign prostatic hyperplasia should not take this medication without a doctor's direction. This medication contains ingredients that stimulate the sympathetic nervous system, which can cause side effects such as anxiety, tremors, dizziness, shortness of breath, difficulty urinating, insomnia, and irregular heart rhythms. Some patients may experience palpitations, headaches, and nausea, but it is safe when taken at appropriate doses. Individuals sensitive to antihistamine components may experience side effects such as drowsiness, dizziness, decreased appetite, vomiting, and dermatitis, so caution is advised. This medication may induce drowsiness, and taking it with alcohol or sedatives can increase drowsiness. Children may exhibit excitatory reactions, so caution is necessary. If symptoms do not improve within 7 days or if there is a high fever, consult a physician immediately. During the use of this medication, it is advised to avoid alcoholic beverages and refrain from activities requiring focus such as driving or operating machinery. Never exceed the prescribed dose, and if an overdose occurs, consult a physician immediately. If symptoms like dizziness, insomnia, or nervousness appear, discontinue use and consult medical staff. Finally, this medication should be kept out of reach of children in a secure place.
