This medication helps to relieve cough and phlegm symptoms. Coughing occurs due to irritation in the respiratory tract, and phlegm is mucus secreted from the bronchi or lungs. This medicine reduces inflammation in the airways and thins the phlegm to facilitate its expulsion. As a result, breathing becomes easier and symptoms improve. It is used for these symptoms.
