Adult dose

Typically, for adults, 1 packet (single dose) is taken 3 times a day after meals with warm water.

Serious side effects

Reduced urine output, swelling in the face and extremities (edema), eyelid heaviness, increased blood pressure, hypokalemia, hyperaldosteronism, myopathy (muscle disease)
