This medication is used for respiratory diseases such as persistent cough with phlegm, bronchitis, and bronchial asthma.

How to take

Adult dose

Typically, for adults, take 1 packet (single dose) 3 times a day before meals or between meals.

Precautions

This medication contains lactose; therefore, individuals with genetic issues such as galactose intolerance, Lapp lactase deficiency, or glucose-galactose malabsorption should not take it. Patients with hypertension or elderly patients, those with heart or kidney problems, individuals with swelling, patients on other medications, pregnant or potentially pregnant women, nursing mothers, children, and individuals with excessive watery phlegm must consult with a physician or pharmacist before use. If symptoms such as reduced urine output, swelling of the face or hands and feet, increased blood pressure, headache, muscle weakness, or limb cramps occur during treatment, discontinue use immediately and consult a professional. Additionally, if rare symptoms like fever, cough, difficulty breathing, liver dysfunction, skin rash, or dyspepsia occur, stop the medication immediately and consult a doctor. If symptoms do not improve after one month of use, discontinue and consult with healthcare personnel. Caution is necessary when used with other medications containing potassium or licorice or specific diuretics, as muscle weakness or hypokalemia may occur. When used with other traditional herbal medicines, be mindful of overlapping ingredients and adhere to prescribed dosages and administration methods. Long-term use should generally be avoided, and if necessary, consult healthcare personnel. Store this medication in a tightly closed container to avoid exposure to air and moisture, in a cool place away from direct sunlight, and out of reach of children. Also, it should be stored in its original container tightly sealed, and transferring it to another container should be avoided.
