Used for cough symptoms accompanied by a persistent cough with phlegm as well as dyspnea.

How to take

Adult dose

Typically, adults take 1 packet three times a day before meals or between meals.

Precautions

This medication contains lactose (lactose hydrate), so individuals with galactose intolerance, congenital lactose deficiency, or glucose-galactose malabsorption should not take it. Patients with hypertension, elderly individuals, those with heart or kidney problems, persons with edema, those taking other medications, pregnant women or those who may become pregnant, and individuals with weak stomachs must consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medication. If symptoms such as swelling of the face or extremities or increased blood pressure occur while taking this medication, it should be discontinued immediately and a healthcare professional should be consulted. In addition, if symptoms such as muscle weakness, limb spasms, loss of appetite, nausea, diarrhea, skin rash, or hives appear, this medication should be stopped immediately and a medical professional should be consulted. If symptoms do not improve after taking for about one month, the medication should be stopped and medical attention obtained. Caution should be taken when taking this drug with other medications containing potassium or licorice, as the risk of side effects may increase. Dosage and instructions must be followed strictly, and care should be taken not to duplicate ingredients when using this medication with other herbal medicines. This is not intended for long-term use, so if prolonged use is necessary, a healthcare professional should be consulted. Store in a cool place away from direct sunlight and out of reach of children in a safe location. Also, it should be kept sealed in the original container; transferring to another container may pose a risk of misuse or deterioration of quality.
