This medicine should not be used by individuals with fever due to inflammation, those with weak digestive systems that cannot properly digest food, those with a hot body constitution, those who are weak and have dry cough, pregnant women, newborns, and breastfeeding women. Additionally, since this product contains lactose, patients with genetic disorders that prevent the breakdown of lactose or those with issues in lactose absorption should not take it. Caution is necessary when using this medicine for children who are malnourished or those with phlegm heat. Individuals with high blood pressure, elderly patients, patients with heart or kidney issues, those with body swelling, and those currently undergoing treatment from a doctor should consult with a healthcare professional before taking this medicine. If during the use of this medicine you experience decreased urine output, swelling in the face or extremities, heavy eyelids, stiffness in the hands, elevated blood pressure, or headaches, you should stop taking it immediately and consult a professional. Long-term use of this medicine may result in symptoms such as hypokalemia, increased blood pressure, fluid retention, edema, and weight gain; therefore, it is important to regularly check your blood potassium levels, and if any abnormalities are found, discontinue use. Muscle disorders such as muscle weakness, limb cramps, or paralysis may occur due to hypokalemia, so if these symptoms appear, stop taking the medicine and consult a professional. Caution should be exercised when used with other medications containing potassium or liquorice, or certain diuretics, as this may increase the risk of side effects. When used long-term, there is a possibility of experiencing side effects such as hypokalemia and elevated blood pressure, so care should be taken.
