This medicine helps relieve major symptoms associated with the common cold, including runny nose, nasal congestion, sneezing, sore throat, cough, phlegm, chills, fever, headache, joint pain, and muscle pain. By improving these various symptoms occurring during a cold at once, it reduces discomfort in the patient's daily life. It is used to quickly alleviate cold symptoms and restore to a healthy condition.

How to take

Adult dose

Adults aged 15 and over should take 1 packet 3 times a day after meals, 30 minutes after eating.

Child dose

The use of this medication is not recognized for infants under 2 years of age, and if absolutely necessary, a doctor's consultation is required.

Precautions

This medication contains pseudoephedrine, which can rarely cause a severe skin reaction known as acute generalized exanthematous pustulosis. If fever, redness of the skin, or small blister-like symptoms occur, discontinue use immediately and consult a doctor or pharmacist. This medicine is contraindicated for certain individuals. For example, those who are allergic to this medicine or its components, have previously experienced allergic reactions, have a history of asthma, are infants under 3 months of age, are taking or have recently discontinued an MAO inhibitor such as certain antidepressants or anti-Parkinson medications within the last 2 weeks, have genetic metabolic disorders such as lactose intolerance should not take this medication. While taking this medicine, it is advisable not to combine it with cough suppressants, other cold medications, antipyretic analgesics, sedatives, or other medications containing antihistamines. Additionally, children suspected of having chickenpox or influenza, those with allergy predispositions or a history of drug allergy symptoms, patients with liver, kidney, heart, or thyroid disorders; those with hypertension, diabetes, gastrointestinal disorders, glaucoma, urination difficulties; pregnant or breastfeeding women; and those taking specific medications should consult a doctor or pharmacist before use. If any unusual symptoms such as rash, itching, vomiting, dizziness, insomnia occur during use, discontinue immediately and consult an expert. Rarely, anaphylaxis shock, severe skin disorders, asthma attacks, liver function abnormalities, or pneumonia symptoms may occur, requiring caution. Children under 2 years of age should not use this medication as a principle, and if absolutely necessary, a doctor's consultation is required. It is essential to follow the specified usage and dosage strictly and avoid long-term use. Alcohol should be avoided during treatment, and since drowsiness may occur, driving or operating machinery should be avoided. Care must be taken when used with preparations containing potassium or licorice and specific diuretics due to the risk of hypokalemia or muscle abnormalities. When storing, keep it out of reach of children and in a cool, dry place sealed away from direct sunlight, and it is advisable not to transfer it to other containers.

Drug interactions

Do not take this medication with oral medications that contain cough suppressants, other cold medications, antipyretic analgesics, sedatives, or antihistamines.
