This medication is used for the treatment of pyogenic diseases that are accompanied by symptoms of redness, congestion of the skin, swelling, hardening, and pain.

How to take

Adult dose

The usual adult dose is 1 packet (1 single dose) 3 times a day before meals or between meals.

Precautions

This medication should not be taken in cases where local symptoms such as redness, swelling, and pain occur along with systemic symptoms such as headache, chills, or fever. It is also advisable not to take this medication if there are patients without fever having an abscess or chronic boils. Since this product contains a pigment known as Yellow No. 5, patients who are allergic or sensitive to this component should use caution when taking it. Patients with high blood pressure, heart or kidney disease, or edema must consult a specialist before taking this medication. Patients taking other medications or undergoing treatment also need to consult before taking this medication. Especially elderly patients, women who are pregnant or may become pregnant, and those who have previously experienced rashes or itching due to medications should consult a specialist. For children, caution is necessary as the safety of this medication has not been sufficiently confirmed. If unusual symptoms such as swelling of the face or hands and feet or elevated blood pressure occur during use, discontinue use immediately and consult a healthcare professional. Additionally, if symptoms of muscle abnormalities such as weakness or limb cramps, skin rashes, or digestive discomfort arise, stop taking the medication and seek advice. If symptoms do not improve after taking for more than 5-6 days, consult a specialist. Long-term use should be avoided as a principle, and if unavoidable, it should be guided by a specialist. The prescribed dosage and administration must be strictly followed. Caution is required when taking with drugs containing potassium or licorice, or certain diuretics, as muscle abnormalities or electrolyte imbalances may occur. When taking with other herbal medicines, care should be taken to avoid overlapping ingredients. Store the medication in an airtight container to prevent exposure to air or moisture. It should be kept at room temperature, between 1 to 30 degrees Celsius, to maintain the effectiveness of the medication for longer. Transferring the medication from its original container to another container may degrade quality or pose a risk of misuse, so it should be stored tightly sealed in its original container.

Serious side effects

Decreased urine output or swelling of the face and hands and feet, heavy eyelids, high blood pressure, headache, myopathy due to hypokalemia.

Mild side effects

Local symptoms such as redness (congestion and flushing), swelling, and pain, headache, chills, fever, rash or redness (congestion and flushing), itching, abdominal discomfort, weakness, limb cramps, paralysis.
