This medicine should not be used by individuals with inflammatory fever or those who have been coughing for a long time or spitting blood. Additionally, individuals who have a fever or dry cough should not take this medicine. This medicine contains lactose; therefore, individuals with genetic issues such as lactose intolerance, lactase deficiency, or glucose-galactose malabsorption should not take it. Individuals with high blood pressure, the elderly, patients with heart or kidney problems, and those with swelling must consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medicine. Moreover, individuals receiving current treatment or experiencing diarrhea symptoms, as well as children with nutritional deficiencies and those displaying damp-heat symptoms, also require consultation. If during treatment, symptoms such as decreased urine output, swelling of the face or extremities, heaviness of the eyelids, stiffness of the hands, increased blood pressure, or headaches appear, discontinue use immediately and consult a professional. Long-term use may result in side effects such as hypokalemia, increased blood pressure, fluid retention, swelling, and weight gain, thus regular monitoring of blood potassium levels is essential and use should be stopped if abnormalities occur. Symptoms like muscle weakness, limb cramps, or paralysis may indicate myopathy, thus usage should cease, and a doctor consulted. Additionally, side effects such as dry mouth or a lopsided tongue may occur, so caution is advised. Taking this medicine with potassium supplements, licorice-containing medications, or certain diuretics increases the risk of side effects, so it should not be combined without professional guidance. This medicine is not recommended to be used with Banha and Wodou herbs. When storing, keep it in a sealed container away from direct sunlight and in a cool place with low humidity; do not transfer it to another container for quality maintenance.
