Long-term use of this medication containing licorice above a certain amount can lead to side effects such as hypokalemia, elevated blood pressure, or body swelling, so it is important to regularly monitor your condition with blood tests. Symptoms of muscle weakness, limb cramps, or paralysis can appear due to hypokalemia; if such symptoms occur, stop taking the medication and consult with a specialist. Be cautious when using this medication with other potassium-containing drugs, licorice-containing medications, or certain diuretics, as the risk of side effects may increase.
