Traditional medicine insurance treatment
This medication should not be used by pregnant women, those with weak constitutions, people with inflammatory fever in the body, or patients with high blood pressure or arteriosclerosis. Furthermore, as it contains lactose, individuals with lactose intolerance, lactase deficiency, or glucose-galactose malabsorption syndromes due to genetic issues should not take this medication. Those with high blood pressure, elderly individuals, people with heart or kidney problems, those with edema, and anyone currently receiving treatment from a physician should consult with a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medication. If during use, urine output decreases, or if swelling occurs in the face or limbs, eyelids feel heavy, hands become stiff, blood pressure rises, or headaches occur, stop taking the medication immediately and consult an expert. Long-term use may lead to symptoms such as hypokalemia, elevated blood pressure, edema, and weight gain due to fluid retention; therefore, it is essential to regularly monitor blood potassium levels. If symptoms such as muscle weakness, limb cramps, or paralysis appear, stop taking the medication immediately and consult a physician. There is a risk of muscle disorders or hypokalemia when taken together with potassium-containing preparations, licorice ingredients, or certain diuretics; caution is advised when co-administering. While taking, be aware that side effects such as dry mouth or tongue deviation may occur. Particularly, long-term use of medications containing licorice above a certain amount may lead to hypokalemia, elevated blood pressure, and symptoms similar to aldosterone effects, which requires caution. It is advisable not to use specific herbal ingredients like Pinellia and Atractylodes together with this medication. Store in a sealed container away from direct sunlight and in a cool, dry place. It is vital not to transfer the medication to another container to maintain its quality.
