This medicine should not be used by individuals with inflammatory fever. Also, people who are weak, have a fever, and feel lethargic should avoid taking this medicine. This medicine contains lactose; thus, patients with a genetic condition that prevents lactose breakdown should not take it. Children in poor nutritional condition or with symptoms of damp heat should use this cautiously. Individuals with high blood pressure, older people, patients with heart or kidney issues, those with edema, and those currently undergoing treatment by a physician must consult a specialist before use. If there is a decrease in urine output, swelling of the face, hands, or feet, heaviness of the eyelids, stiffness in the hands, an increase in blood pressure, or headaches during use, stop taking the medicine immediately and consult a specialist. Prolonged use can lead to side effects such as hypokalemia, increased blood pressure, fluid retention, edema, and weight gain; therefore, it is crucial to regularly monitor serum potassium levels. If symptoms such as muscle weakness, limb cramps, or paralysis appear due to hypokalemia, discontinue use. Taking this medicine with potassium-containing medications or certain diuretics increases the risk of side effects, so care should be taken according to a specialist's directions. Attention is needed as the glycyrrhizinic acid component in this medicine may cause symptoms of hypokalemia and increased blood pressure when used in excess over time. Store in a sealed container away from direct sunlight and in a cool place with low humidity; after use, always seal tightly and keep in a location out of reach of children. Additionally, do not transfer medicines from their original container to another; always store in the original container and ensure it is tightly closed.
