The blood concentration of this medication should be monitored periodically to adjust dosages. If blood concentration is too high, severe side effects such as convulsions or arrhythmias may occur. Patients with heart disease should take special precautions when using this medication. When using the injectable form in ampoules, handle it carefully to avoid glass particles contamination, and more caution is required for children and the elderly. This medication or its ingredients, or similar class medications should not be used if there is an allergy or history of severe side effects, or if there are gastrointestinal ulcers or specific blood disorders. Additionally, patients with acute arrhythmias or myocardial infarction should avoid using the injectables. Patients with epilepsy, thyroid dysfunction, kidney or liver impairment, children, the elderly, or pregnant or breastfeeding women should use this medication with caution, and those with chronic alcoholism, heart failure, or diabetes should also be careful. This medication can cause various side effects such as headache, insomnia, anxiety, dizziness, nausea, vomiting, arrhythmia, and skin rash. Rarely, muscle damage or liver function abnormalities may occur, so any symptoms should be reported to a healthcare professional immediately. When used with other medications, interactions may occur, thus dosage adjustment and monitoring are essential, especially when used with central nervous system stimulants, certain antibiotics, heart medications, or anticonvulsants. Smoking or drinking can also affect the effectiveness of this medication, so caution is advised. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should consult a doctor before use, as it may affect the fetus or infant. It is advisable not to use this medication in infants under 6 months, and caution should be taken when used in children with a history of convulsions. In the elderly, dosage adjustments may be necessary due to possible increased drug concentration from hepatic impairment. This medication is safer when administered slowly while monitoring blood concentration, as rapid injection increases the risk of side effects. In case of overdose, serious symptoms such as vomiting, convulsions, and heart abnormalities may occur, requiring immediate emergency care and potential treatment to lower blood concentration.
