It also helps with bacterial dysentery and gastroenteritis, endometritis and female reproductive infections, various eye inflammation, and infections in the ear and nasal area like otitis media or sinusitis. However, this drug carries a risk of serious adverse reactions and is only recommended when alternative treatments cannot be used for conditions such as acute bacterial sinusitis, chronic bronchitis, exacerbation of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, simple urinary tract infections, acute otitis media, and complex skin and soft tissue infections.
