It is safe not to take other cough medicines, cold medicines, antihistamines, or sedatives while using this medication. Individuals with a history of allergy or those who have experienced allergic symptoms like rash, fever, and itching due to medication should consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking it. Those with liver, kidney, heart, thyroid conditions, diabetes, hypertension, glaucoma, urinary difficulties, or the elderly and weak individuals should also consult an expert before taking this medication. Women who are pregnant or nursing should definitely consult a medical professional. Those under treatment or having chronic cough, asthma, emphysema, or respiratory issues should consult before taking. This medication contains a dye called Yellow No. 5, so those allergic to this substance should exercise caution. If symptoms such as rash, itching, vomiting, dizziness, urinary difficulties, anxiety, trembling, or insomnia occur after taking this medication, discontinue use immediately and consult a healthcare professional. Additionally, if symptoms do not improve after taking it 5-6 times, stop taking and consult a doctor. Children under 2 years of age should not be given this medication unless in special cases. When taking this medication, it is essential to adhere to the prescribed dosage, and it is advisable to give it in syrup form to children under 7 years old. Avoid alcohol while using this medication and refrain from driving or operating machinery as drowsiness may occur. This medication should be kept out of reach of children, stored in a tight container away from direct sunlight, in a cool, dry place. Additionally, it is important not to transfer it to another container to maintain quality.
