Precautions
This medicine should not be used by individuals with inflammatory heat, who have been coughing for a long time, or are spitting blood. Individuals with high blood pressure, the elderly, those with heart or kidney problems, individuals with edema, those currently receiving treatment from a physician, and pregnant women must consult with a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medicine. Additionally, if consumed in excess for a long period, the glycyrrhizin component in this medicine may cause side effects such as hypokalemia, increased blood pressure, fluid retention, edema, and weight gain, therefore potassium levels should be regularly monitored, and if abnormalities are detected, use must be stopped. Hypokalemia may lead to muscle disorders such as muscle weakness, limb cramps, and paralysis, so if symptoms arise, discontinue use and consult healthcare providers. If any of the following symptoms indicative of possible liver function issues arise: fatigue, loss of appetite, jaundice, nausea, vomiting, severe upper abdominal pain, or dark urine, you must immediately stop taking this medicine and seek professional medical attention. When taking this medicine, it is advisable to dissolve it in hot water and consume only the clear liquid. When storing, avoid direct sunlight and keep it in a tight container in a cool, dry place, and do not transfer it to another container to prevent misuse and maintain quality.
