Precautions

This medication should not be used by individuals with inflammatory fever or by those who are weak, have fever, or lack energy. Individuals with high blood pressure, the elderly, those with heart or kidney issues, those with swelling, or individuals currently receiving treatment from a physician should consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medication. If during treatment there is a decrease in urine output or if swelling occurs in the face, hands, or feet, eyelids feel heavy, hands become stiff, blood pressure rises, or headaches occur, discontinue use immediately and consult an expert. Additionally, long-term use of this medication may result in side effects such as hypokalemia, elevated blood pressure, fluid retention, swelling, and weight gain, so potassium levels should be monitored periodically and discontinued if abnormalities are detected. Hypokalemia may lead to muscle weakness, limb cramps, and paralysis, so if such symptoms occur, immediate discontinuation and consultation with a physician are necessary. During treatment, caution is advised when using this medication with potassium-containing drugs or those containing licorice, as well as loop diuretics or thiazide diuretics, as the risk of side effects may increase. This medication should be stored tightly closed in a cool place away from direct sunlight and moisture, and it is important not to transfer it to other containers to maintain quality.
