Cough and phlegm are common symptoms of respiratory diseases. This medication is mainly used to relieve cough and phlegm.

How to take

Adult dose

Adults (ages 15 and older): Take 2 capsules after meals three times a day.

Child dose

Ages 8 to 14 years: Take 1 capsule after meals three times a day.

Precautions

This medicine should not be taken by women who are pregnant or may become pregnant. It should not be administered to babies under 3 months old, and children over 3 months but under 2 years old should use it only after consulting a doctor. Those allergic to this medicine, its components, or eggs should avoid it. Individuals taking MAO inhibitors, such as antidepressants or antipsychotics, or who have recently stopped taking them within 2 weeks should not use this medicine. Those with a genetic problem that prevents lactose digestion should also avoid this medicine. While taking this medicine, it is recommended not to take other cold medications, cough suppressants, antihistamines, or sedatives together. Especially children, individuals with allergies, and those with liver, kidney, heart, or thyroid conditions must consult a specialist before taking. If rash, itching, vomiting, dizziness, difficulty urinating, anxiety, tremors, or insomnia occur while taking this medicine, stop taking it immediately and consult a specialist. In severe cases, anaphylaxis or severe rashes on the skin and mucous membranes may occur, so caution is needed. If symptoms do not improve after taking the medicine for more than 5-6 times, consult a specialist. This medicine must be taken according to the prescribed dosage and directions, especially under the supervision of a guardian for children. Avoid alcohol during treatment, and refrain from driving or operating machinery as drowsiness may occur.
