This medicine should not be used in patients with inflammatory fever, those who have been coughing for a long time due to weakness, or patients who are vomiting blood. Additionally, it contains lactose, so it should not be administered to patients with genetic disorders such as galactose intolerance, Lapp lactase deficiency, or glucose-galactose malabsorption. This medication contains glycyrrhizin, and long-term use of more than 40 mg per day may result in side effects such as hypokalemia, increased blood pressure, retention of sodium and fluids in the body, edema, and weight gain, thus caution is advised. When storing, keep it away from direct sunlight and in a cool place with low humidity, and it must be sealed properly after use. Additionally, to prevent misuse and maintain the quality of the medicine, it is important not to transfer it to another container. Patients with high blood pressure, elderly patients, individuals with heart or kidney disorders, those with edema, or those currently under medical treatment must consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking it. If symptoms such as decreased urine output, swelling of the face or limbs, heaviness of the eyelids, hand stiffness, increased blood pressure, or headache occur during use, immediately discontinue use and consult a specialist. During prolonged use, serum potassium levels should be regularly monitored, and if any abnormalities arise, usage should be stopped. Symptoms such as muscle weakness, limb cramps, or paralysis can occur due to hypokalemia, so if these symptoms appear, discontinue use and consult a doctor. Finally, when taken concurrently with potassium-containing formulations, licorice-containing formulations, or certain diuretics, there may be an increased risk of side effects, so it must be administered cautiously.
