Precautions

This medicine should not be used by patients with inflammation or a fever and by those in a condition of excessive internal heat or Yin deficiency and fire excess. This medicine contains lactose, so it should not be administered to patients with genetic metabolic disorders such as galactose intolerance, Lapp lactase deficiency, or glucose-galactose malabsorption. Patients with heavy menstruation, pregnant women, and those with weak digestive functions should be especially cautious when using this medicine. The glycyrrhizin component contained in this medicine can cause low potassium levels in the blood and high blood pressure if taken in doses exceeding 40mg per day over a long period. Furthermore, excessive sodium and fluid retention can lead to side effects such as edema or weight gain, so caution is advised. This medicine should be stored in a cool place away from direct sunlight and moisture, and it must be securely closed after use. To maintain quality, it is important not to transfer to another container. Patients with high blood pressure, older individuals, those with heart or kidney diseases, and patients with edema should consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medicine.
