This medicine should not be used by individuals with fever due to inflammation or weak bodily conditions. Additionally, this medicine contains lactose, so individuals with genetic conditions that prevent lactose digestion should not take it. The licorice component in this medicine can lower potassium levels and raise blood pressure when taken in excess over a long period; thus, caution is necessary. This medicine should be stored in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, and it must be sealed tightly after use. Transferring to another container may alter the quality of the medicine, so it is advisable to keep it in its original container. Individuals with high blood pressure, the elderly, those with heart or kidney issues, those with edema, or those currently undergoing treatment from a physician should consult a specialist before taking this medicine. If urine output decreases, swelling occurs in the face, hands, or feet, eyelids feel heavy, or stiffness in the hands and an increase in blood pressure or headaches occur during use, discontinue use immediately and consult a specialist. When taking this medicine for an extended period, potassium levels in the blood should be tested regularly, and if anomalies are found, use should be discontinued. If symptoms such as weakness in muscles, cramps, or paralysis appear due to hypokalemia, discontinue use immediately. Care must be taken when using potassium supplements, other medications containing licorice, or certain diuretics as this may increase the risk of side effects.
