This medication should not be used by individuals with fever due to inflammation, weakness leading to dry cough or chronic cough, or those who are coughing up blood. Additionally, because it contains lactose, individuals with a genetic disorder that prevents lactose digestion should avoid taking it. Children with poor nutritional status or those with high body heat should use this medication cautiously. This medication contains glycyrrhizic acid, which may lower blood potassium levels, increase blood pressure, and cause fluid retention leading to edema or weight gain if taken in excessive amounts for a prolonged period. Also, side effects such as dry mouth or a burning sensation on the tongue may occur, so caution is necessary. When storing this medication, it should be kept in a sealed container away from direct sunlight in a cool, dry place, and it is advisable not to transfer it to another container. Individuals with high blood pressure, older individuals, those with heart or kidney function issues, those with body swelling, and those undergoing treatment should consult a professional before taking it. If during use there is a decrease in urination or swelling of the face and limbs, heaviness of the eyelids, rigidity of the hands, increased blood pressure, or headaches, immediately discontinue use and consult a professional. For prolonged use of this medication, it is essential to regularly check blood potassium levels and fluid status and stop use if abnormalities exist. Symptoms such as muscle weakness, cramps, or paralysis may occur due to hypokalemia, and if these symptoms arise, medication should be stopped and medical personnel consulted. During use, caution is advised when taking potassium supplements, other medications containing licorice, or certain diuretics, as these may increase the risk of side effects. Finally, it is preferable not to use this medication in conjunction with certain herbal remedies and it should be taken under professional guidance.

Serious side effects

Decreased urine output, swelling of the face or limbs, heaviness of the eyelids, hand rigidity, increased blood pressure, headaches, hypokalemia, edema, increased blood pressure, weight gain, weakness, limb cramps, paralysis, etc. If severe edema or urinary abnormalities occur as well as serious neurological symptoms, discontinue use immediately and consult a physician.
