Treatment of dermatophyte infections (tinea pedis, tinea corporis, etc.) and onychomycosis
This medication is effective for the treatment of tinea pedis, tinea corporis, and tinea cruris caused by dermatophytes in adults, as well as onychomycosis. It is also used for the treatment of tinea capitis in children. It helps improve various skin and nail fungal infections.
As terbinafine, administer 125 mg once, twice a day or 250 mg once a day. The duration of treatment according to the disease is as follows: 1) Dermatophytosis Tinea pedis (interdigital type, plantar/moccasin type): 2–6 weeks Tinea corporis: 2–4 weeks Tinea cruris (jock itch): 2–4 weeks 2) Onychomycosis Typically administered for 6 weeks to 3 months. In cases of smaller toenail infections or in younger patients, the treatment duration may be shortened to less than 3 months. The treatment period for toenail infections is usually sufficient within 3 months, but some patients may require 6 months or more. In cases of slow nail growth, the treatment period may be extended.
Administer to children over the age of 2. 1) Children under 20 kg (under 5 years old): administer 62.5 mg once daily. Due to insufficient experience, the benefits and risks of treatment should be considered when deciding whether to administer.
This drug should not be used in patients with chronic liver disease or active liver disease. Before taking this drug, it is important to confirm liver health status and regularly monitor liver function. If liver function test values increase or symptoms such as nausea, decreased appetite, fatigue, vomiting, abdominal pain, or jaundice occur, inform a doctor immediately and discontinue use of the medication. This drug should not be administered to patients with blood disorders, severe renal impairment, lactating women, children under the age of 2, or certain hereditary lactose intolerance patients. It should be used with caution in the elderly, patients with renal impairment, and children weighing less than 20 kg, and if serious skin reactions occur, the medication should be stopped immediately. This drug may cause various side effects including liver damage, blood abnormalities, skin rashes, musculoskeletal pain, gastrointestinal symptoms, and neurological symptoms, so consult a healthcare professional if symptoms occur. Caution should be taken while driving or operating machinery as dizziness may occur. There may be interactions with other medications, so if you are taking any other medications, it is essential to inform your healthcare provider, especially when used with drugs that affect liver metabolism, as dosage adjustments may be necessary. For pregnant women or those who may become pregnant, careful consideration should be given to the use of this medication, and lactating women should discontinue breastfeeding while on this drug. In case of overdose, symptoms such as headache, nausea, abdominal pain, and dizziness can occur, so seek medical attention immediately for proper treatment. Store this drug out of reach of children, away from direct sunlight, and at room temperature.

Rash, itching, photosensitivity reaction, acute generalized exanthematous pustulosis, erythema multiforme, toxic skin rash, exfoliative dermatitis, blistering dermatitis, psoriasis-like rash, worsening of psoriasis, hair loss, musculoskeletal reactions (arthralgia, myalgia), muscle pain, weakness, acute renal failure accompanied by rhabdomyolysis, hypotension, hypersensitivity reactions such as hives, erythema, facial swelling, lymphadenopathy, gastrointestinal symptoms (abdominal bloating, decreased appetite, indigestion, nausea
