Relief of cold, sinusitis, upper respiratory allergies (congestion)
This medication is used to relieve congestion due to conditions such as colds, sinusitis, and upper respiratory allergies.
Adults and those aged 12 and older: Take 30 to 60 mg of pseudoephedrine hydrochloride orally, 3 to 4 times a day. The maximum daily dosage is 240 mg. The total daily dosage should not exceed 4 doses, and at least 4 hours should elapse between doses. Adjust according to age and symptoms.
Ages 6 to 11: Take 30 mg orally, 3 to 4 times a day. The total daily dosage should not exceed 4 doses, and at least 4 hours should elapse between doses.
This medication may cause serious skin adverse reactions such as acute generalized exanthematous pustulosis, so if fever, red spots, or small blisters develop on the skin during use, you should stop taking the medication immediately and seek medical attention. Also, patients who have an allergic reaction to this medication or have specific conditions such as heart disease, thyroid disease, or diabetes, as well as nursing women, should not use this medication. Patients with prostate hypertrophy, impaired liver or kidney function, pregnant women, or elderly individuals should use this medication cautiously and consult their doctor if necessary. During use, heart palpitations or irregular heartbeats may occur, and symptoms such as headache, dizziness, anxiety, indigestion, and constipation may arise, so if these symptoms appear, consult medical personnel. If symptoms do not improve after taking this medication for more than 7 days or if high fever occurs, it is important to stop taking it and consult a specialist. This medication may interact when taken with other sympathomimetics, certain anesthetics, or antihypertensives, so if you are taking other medications, be sure to inform your doctor or pharmacist. Safety during pregnancy has not been established, so it should only be taken in special cases; also, during breastfeeding, it is advisable to avoid taking it or to discontinue breastfeeding. Children under 2 years old should take this medication under a doctor's guidance, and elderly individuals should be especially cautious as side effects may be more severe.
Acute generalized exanthematous pustulosis (AGEP), fever, erythema, severe skin adverse reactions with multiple small pustules
Palpitations, tachycardia, arrhythmia, pallor of the face, cardiovascular collapse with hypotension, migraine, headache, dizziness, anxiety, tension, weakness, fatigue, insomnia, hallucinations, seizures, central nervous system excitation or depression, constipation, nausea, dyspepsia, ischemic colitis, rash, urinary retention, cross-sensitivity, angle-closure glaucoma, thirst, sweating, restlessness, sleep disturbances

This medication should be stored in a tightly sealed container to prevent air or moisture from entering. Additionally, it is best stored at room temperature between 1°C and 30°C. Proper storage helps maintain the effectiveness of the medication.
