Precautions

This medication should not be used in certain patients. For example, it should not be used in individuals who are allergic to this drug or its ingredients, or those with untreated infections of the nasal mucosa. Additionally, patients who have recently undergone nasal surgery or have injuries to their nose, as well as children under 2 years of age, should not use this medication. This medication should be used with caution in patients with respiratory tuberculosis or systemic infections, those with recurrent nosebleeds, and those at risk for chickenpox or measles. Pregnant or nursing women should also take care when using this medication. When using this medication, side effects such as headaches, nosebleeds, throat irritation, cough, and upper respiratory infections may occur, and rarely, severe allergic reactions like anaphylaxis may happen. Long-term use of high doses may lead to systemic corticosteroid side effects, so it should be used according to a doctor's instructions. If a fungal infection occurs in the nasal or pharyngeal area during the use of this medication, use should be discontinued immediately and appropriate treatment sought. When administered to children, it may slow growth rates, so regular monitoring of their growth status is important, and using the minimum effective dose is essential. This medication may interact with other drugs, especially when used in conjunction with CYP3A4 inhibitors, which increases the risk of systemic side effects. When used during pregnancy, it may affect the fetus and newborn, so it should only be used when absolutely necessary under a doctor’s supervision. This medication is for intranasal use only, and care should be taken to avoid spraying it directly into the eyes or nasal septum. Before use, the container should be shaken well, and if it has not been used for 14 days or more, it should be tested with two sprays to ensure uniform delivery. Keep this medication out of reach of children, and discard any expired products. It is important to regularly check for changes in the nasal mucosa while using this medication, and to consult a doctor immediately if any unusual symptoms occur.
