This medicine is primarily used effectively for rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, tendinitis, acute gout, and dysmenorrhea. It also helps relieve various pains such as bursitis, musculoskeletal disorders (sprains, strains, injuries, low back pain), postoperative pain, migraines, and pain after tooth extraction. This drug reduces inflammation and pain, making patients' daily lives more comfortable. Therefore, it is widely used for the treatment of joint and muscle-related diseases and various forms of acute pain.

How to take

Adult dose

Rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, ankylosing spondylitis: 275-550mg orally twice a day (every 12 hours). Acute gout: First dose 825mg orally, followed by 275mg orally every 8 hours until the attack subsides. Musculoskeletal disorders, postoperative pain, pain after tooth extraction, dysmenorrhea, tendinitis, bursitis: First dose 550mg orally, then 275mg every 6-8 hours.

Precautions

This medicine should be discussed with a doctor or pharmacist before use for people who regularly consume more than three glasses of alcohol daily. Regular alcohol consumption can increase the risk of gastrointestinal bleeding when taking this drug. This drug may increase the risk of cardiovascular diseases. Serious cardiovascular issues such as myocardial infarction or stroke may occur, so individuals with a history of cardiovascular diseases or risk factors should exercise extra caution. If cardiovascular symptoms occur during use, consult a physician immediately. This drug can cause serious gastrointestinal side effects, including gastrointestinal bleeding, ulcers, and perforation. The risks are greater for the elderly and those with a history of gastrointestinal disease, so close monitoring for gastrointestinal symptoms is advised during use. Those with a history of peptic ulcers, severe blood disorders, liver dysfunction, heart failure, kidney disorders, severe hypertension, or hypersensitivity to this drug or non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs should not take this drug. Additionally, those who have had asthma or allergic reactions from aspirin or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs should avoid it. Individuals with a history of peptic ulcers, bleeding tendencies, liver or kidney dysfunction, heart dysfunction, hypertension, asthma, autoimmune diseases, the elderly, etc., should take this drug with caution. If allergic reactions, gastrointestinal bleeding, blood disorders, liver or kidney dysfunction, neurological symptoms, skin rashes, or other abnormal symptoms occur during use, discontinue the medication immediately and consult a physician. It is advised not to take this drug with other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, and inform your physician of any other medications you are taking, as there may be interactions. This medicine should not be taken during pregnancy, especially in later stages, and women who may become pregnant should consult a physician prior to use. Lactating women should avoid taking this drug as it may pass into breast milk and cause side effects in infants. It is best not to administer this medicine to children under 2 years old, as its safety has not been established, and children and the elderly should take it cautiously at the minimum dose. Regular blood tests, as well as liver and kidney function tests, should be performed during use to monitor for any abnormal symptoms. Taking this drug in excess can lead to symptoms such as drowsiness, chest discomfort, indigestion, nausea, and vomiting; in such cases, seek medical attention immediately. This drug should be stored out of reach of children and not transferred to other containers.
