It can potentially affect peripheral neuropathy or the central nervous system, so caution is needed if neurological symptoms arise. It is advisable not to use this drug in patients with severe myasthenia gravis due to the risk of symptom exacerbation. The risk of tendon rupture may be increased in the elderly, in patients with reduced kidney function, and when used in conjunction with corticosteroids, so combination use should be avoided. Children and adolescents under 18 years old, pregnant or breastfeeding women, and individuals with epilepsy should not use this medication. This drug may increase the risk of seizures, so caution is warranted in patients with a history of seizures or central nervous system disorders. In case of overdose, central nervous system symptoms and cardiac rhythm abnormalities may occur, requiring immediate emergency care. This medication may lead to the development of drug-resistant bacteria if used for long periods or repeatedly, so it is important to take it only for the necessary duration. During the use of this medication, it is advisable to avoid strong sunlight or artificial ultraviolet exposure.
