Precautions

This medication can put a strain on the liver, so individuals who consume large amounts of alcohol daily should consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking it. This product contains the artificial sweetener aspartame, which is converted into phenylalanine in the body, and therefore should not be taken by individuals with the genetic disorder phenylketonuria. It contains acetaminophen, so care should be taken not to exceed the maximum daily dosage, and combining it with other acetaminophen-containing medications could result in liver damage. If any unusual symptoms such as skin rash or allergic reactions occur while taking this medication, discontinue use immediately and consult a doctor. Individuals with hypersensitivity, peptic ulcers, severe liver or kidney disease, cardiac dysfunction, and a history of aspirin-induced asthma should not take this medication. Those with liver or kidney issues, blood abnormalities, bleeding tendencies, asthma, the elderly, children, pregnant or nursing individuals should consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medication. If symptoms such as shortness of breath, hives, severe nausea, vomiting, gastrointestinal bleeding, or severe skin rashes occur during use, discontinue use immediately and notify healthcare professionals. For those taking it over long terms, regular blood and liver function tests should be conducted, and dosages should be reduced or stopped if abnormalities are found. If pain or fever persists or worsens beyond 10 days (adults) or 5 days (children), do not continue taking this medication and consult a doctor.
