This medication is used to relieve symptoms related to seasonal or perennial allergic rhinitis and allergic conjunctivitis, chronic idiopathic urticaria, pruritus, and other allergic skin diseases and eye/nasal-related symptoms. It is also helpful in treating eczema and dermatitis when used in conjunction with hydrocortisone topical preparations. It effectively acts on various allergic and inflammatory disorders to improve symptoms.

Dosage and Administration

Adult dosage

Adults and children aged 12 years and older should take 10 mg of cetirizine hydrochloride orally once daily. Patients who are sensitive to side effects may take the dosage divided into morning and evening doses. Precautions
