This medication is effective against herpes simplex viral infections and is used for initial and recurrent genital herpes and oral herpes. How to use

Adult use

This medication is applied to the affected area (site of disease) 5 times a day at approximately 4-hour intervals. Treatment should continue for 5 days, and if not improved after 5 days, it may be used for another 5 days.

Precautions

This medication should not be used by patients who are allergic to any of its components or are hypersensitive. It is especially safe not to be administered to nursing women and children. Patients with weakened immune systems, such as those with AIDS or post-bone marrow transplant, should be particularly cautious when using this medication.
