Adult dosage
For adults and children aged 6 and above, the dosage is 10 mg of cetirizine hydrochloride taken orally once daily before bed. For patients with renal impairment, the dosing interval should be adjusted based on renal function. The dosage and frequency should be adjusted according to creatinine clearance, where normal (≥80 mL/min) is 10 mg once daily.
Children's dosage
For children aged 6 and above, the dosage is the same as for adults: 10 mg of cetirizine hydrochloride taken orally once daily before bed. For pediatric patients with renal impairment, the dosage should be adjusted individually according to the patient’s renal clearance and weight.

This medicine is used for allergic conditions such as seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis and allergic conjunctivitis. It is also effective for chronic idiopathic urticaria and pruritus.
