This medication is used to alleviate inflammation in the mouth, such as gingivitis, stomatitis, and canker sores. It is also effective for inflammatory symptoms related to tooth extraction, pharyngitis, and tonsillitis, and aids in the treatment of mucositis caused by physical factors such as radiation therapy or intubation. Therefore, it is useful in improving various inflammatory conditions in the oral cavity.

How to use

Adult use

Use 15ml once, 2-3 times a day, gargling with it as is or diluted with a small amount of water. Do not use continuously for more than 7 days without physician supervision. Adjust as appropriate according to age and symptoms.

Precautions

This medication may cause serious side effects, such as gastrointestinal bleeding, if taken by individuals who regularly consume more than three glasses of alcohol per day; it is imperative to consult with a physician or pharmacist. This medication contains the artificial sweetener aspartame, which is broken down into phenylalanine in the body. Therefore, individuals with the hereditary condition phenylketonuria should not take this medication. The content of aspartame should be adjusted to the WHO recommended amount of less than 40mg/kg per day; for instance, for a 60kg adult, the maximum daily dosage is 2.4g. It is safe for individuals with allergies to this medication to refrain from taking it. When taking, the medication should be held in the mouth and spit out after gargling, ensuring it is not swallowed. This medication is not suitable for children under 12 years of age and should be avoided. Moreover, this medication contains the dye Yellow No. 4 (tartrazine), and individuals with allergies or hypersensitivity to this ingredient should take it with caution. Finally, this medication should be stored in a safe place out of the reach of children.
