This medication is used to treat skin fungal infections such as tinea pedis, tinea corporis, and tinea cruris caused by various dermatophytes including Trichophyton, Microsporum, and Epidermophyton. It is also effective in treating tinea versicolor caused by the fungus Malassezia furfur and improves cutaneous candidiasis. In summary, it is a drug used for the treatment of various skin fungal infections.

How to use

Adult use

Apply to the affected area (site of disease) once or twice a day. The therapeutic duration depends on the condition: 1. Tinea Pedis: once daily for 1 week Interdigital tinea pedis: twice daily for 1 week Plantar tinea pedis: twice daily for 2 weeks 2. Tinea Corporis, Tinea Cruris: 1 to 2 weeks 3. Precautions

This medication should not be used by individuals who have had allergic reactions to this drug or any of its ingredients. It is advisable to avoid using acidic soap in cases of candidiasis. The drug is minimally absorbed by intact skin, which lowers the potential for systemic side effects, but caution should be taken when applying to wounded areas, large areas, or in infants. If this medication is ingested accidentally, first remove the active ingredient with activated charcoal, and if necessary, seek treatment for symptoms. This medication is solely for external use on the skin and should not be applied to the eyes or mucous membranes. If it gets into the eyes, it should be thoroughly washed out with water to reduce irritation, and caution is advised as it may rarely worsen eye infections. It is safe not to use on nails, scalp, around the mouth, and genital area. Animal studies have reported slight toxicity due to light exposure, so care should be taken to avoid exposure to light.
