This medicine is used for various allergic-related diseases such as seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis, allergic conjunctivitis, chronic idiopathic urticaria, and pruritus. It can also enhance the effect when used in combination with hydrocortisone topical agents for the treatment of eczema and dermatitis. This medicine helps alleviate and improve these allergic symptoms and skin diseases.
Adults and children over 6 years of age should take 10mg of cetirizine hydrochloride orally once daily before bedtime. Patients sensitive to side effects may take 5mg divided into morning and evening doses. Dosage may be adjusted appropriately based on age and symptoms, and dosing intervals for patients with renal impairment should be adjusted according to renal function.
Children over 6 years of age should take 10mg of cetirizine hydrochloride orally once daily before bedtime. The dosage for pediatric patients with renal impairment should be adjusted individually based on the patient's renal clearance and weight.
This medication should not be taken by individuals who have had allergic reactions to specific ingredients or have a history of such experiences. Patients with severely impaired kidney function or children under 6 years of age should not use this medication.
