Adult dose

Typically, adults take one dose of 3.0 grams (single dose) three times a day before meals or between meals.

This medicine contains lactose and should not be used by patients with a genetic problem digesting lactose. Patients with high blood pressure or elderly individuals should consult a healthcare professional before taking this medicine, and caution is required for those with heart or kidney problems. Patients with swelling, those taking other medications, pregnant or potentially pregnant women, and breastfeeding women should consult a healthcare professional before using this medicine. The safety for children has not been sufficiently established, so caution should be exercised, and patients with excessive phlegm producing watery mucus should also be careful. If during use, the face or hands/feet swell, or if there is a headache due to increased blood pressure, stop taking the medicine immediately and consult a healthcare professional. Additionally, if symptoms of muscle weakness, convulsions, or paralysis appear, stop taking the medicine and seek medical attention. Rarely, if symptoms such as fever, cough, or difficulty breathing occur, discontinue use of the medicine immediately and undergo necessary examinations. If signs of liver dysfunction, skin rash, hives, or dyspepsia arise, stop taking the medicine and seek medical care from a professional. If symptoms do not improve after one month of use, consult a physician, particularly for a cough with persistent phlegm, it is advisable to use the medicine for about a week only. Caution is advised when taking medications that contain potassium or certain diuretics, as there is a risk of muscle disease. When taking with other herbal medicines, care should be taken to avoid ingredient overlap, and the prescribed dosage and method must be strictly followed. Long-term use should be avoided in principle, and if prolonged use is unavoidable, consult a healthcare professional. This medicine should be stored in a cool place, avoiding direct sunlight and moisture, and kept out of reach of children. Moreover, transferring the medicine from its original container to another container may decrease the quality of the medicine, so it should be kept sealed in its original container.
