It also enhances the effects when used in conjunction with hydrocortisone topical agents for the treatment of eczema and dermatitis. It helps alleviate inflammation and itching in these conditions, thereby improving symptoms.

How to take

Adult dose

Oral tablets: Administer 10mg of cetirizine hydrochloride once daily before bedtime. Patients sensitive to side effects may take 5mg in divided doses, morning and evening. Adjust dosage according to age and symptoms; patients with renal impairment should adjust dosing intervals and amounts based on renal function.

Child dose
