Symptoms of difficulty in expectoration primarily occur in respiratory diseases such as acute and chronic bronchitis, bronchial asthma, laryngitis, sinusitis, and cystic fibrosis. These diseases lead to increased mucus secretion in the airways or airway obstruction, preventing smooth expectoration. Therefore, medications that assist in expectoration and improve breathing are used for patients with these symptoms.
