Relief of difficulty in expectoration of sputum in respiratory diseases such as acute and chronic bronchitis, bronchial asthma, etc.
This medication is used to improve the symptoms of difficulty in expectoration of sputum in patients with acute and chronic bronchitis, bronchial asthma, laryngitis, sinusitis, and cystic fibrosis.
Acute disease Take 200 mg once, three times a day. Chronic disease Take 200 mg once, twice a day.
Acute disease Ages 6 to 14, take 200 mg once, twice a day. Chronic disease Ages 6 to 14, take 100 mg once, three times a day. Cystic fibrosis Ages 6 and older, take 200 mg once, three times a day.
This medication should not be taken by individuals who have allergic reactions to specific components. Patients with ulcers in the stomach or duodenum should also avoid using this medication. Children under 2 years of age should not use this medication. Since it contains lactose, individuals with genetic conditions that cause lactose intolerance should avoid it. Pregnant women or those who may become pregnant should only use this medication if absolutely necessary and should consult a doctor beforehand. Breastfeeding women should also exercise caution, as this medication may be excreted in breast milk. During use, gastrointestinal symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, inflammation of the mouth, heartburn, and diarrhea may occur, so caution is advised. Additionally, if symptoms of allergic reactions such as hives, itching, rash, headaches, tinnitus, or bronchospasm occur, the medication should be discontinued immediately and medical advice should be sought. In rare cases, rapid heartbeat or high blood pressure may occur, and in severe cases, serious reactions such as anaphylaxis may also occur. This medication may reduce the effectiveness of certain antibiotics when taken together, so it should be taken at least 2 hours apart. It is also advisable not to mix this medication solution with other drugs. It must be stored out of reach of children and in the original container to prevent the quality of the medication from deteriorating or being misused. This medication in inhalation form must be used under the guidance of a physician for patients with bronchial asthma or poor respiratory function. Caution is needed for pregnant and breastfeeding women, and the safety for the elderly and children has not been sufficiently confirmed. Bronchial occlusion or bronchospasm may occur after inhalation, so if symptoms appear, the medication should be discontinued immediately and medical advice should be sought. Mild dizziness, nausea, vomiting, and appetite loss may occur, and in rare cases, symptoms such as blood in sputum, chills, fever, and drowsiness may also arise. Increased bronchial secretions may occur, so symptoms should be monitored closely and appropriate treatment received if necessary. When used with antibiotics, it is better to administer them separately without mixing them. This medication should not be used as an injection or eye drops, and while a mask may adhere closely to the face after inhalation, it can be easily removed with water. For the elderly, physical functions may be reduced, so it should be used cautiously while closely monitoring their condition. After using the inhaler, the device should be cleaned thoroughly, as failure to do so may cause damage to the device. Caution is advised as mixing with other medications may cause precipitation or discoloration. When administering by nebulizer, care should be taken not to make the drug solution too concentrated, and if necessary, it is advisable to dilute it with sterile distilled water.

This medication may be sensitive to air and moisture, so it should be stored in a sealed container. Additionally, it is safest to store it at room temperature between 1 and 30 degrees Celsius. Storing it this way can help maintain the drug's efficacy for a long time.
